Gulliver’s Travels, the 1939 Movie

Gulliver’s Travels, originally titled Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World, in Four Parts. By Lemuel Gulliver, First a Surgeon, and then a Captain of Several Ships, was written in 1726 by Irish writer and clergyman Jonathan Swift. It is both a satire on human nature and a parody of the literary sub-genre of “travellers’ tales.”
